This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets forth HOUSE OF PRIDE’s policy with respect to information including personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”) and other information that is collected from Site visitors and users of the Services or as a member or membership applicant (“you” or “your” being interpreted accordingly).

When you interact with us through the Site or the Services, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below.

Personal Data’ and ‘Personal Information’ as used in this Privacy Policy means any information that relates to you from which you can be identified.

By using our Site or submitting your Personal Data you are taken to accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, so please read it carefully. It provides information on what personal data we collect, why we collect Personal Data, how it is used and the lawful basis on which your personal data is processed, and what your rights are under the applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) which became applicable to us and you as of 25 May 2018.

We collect the following Personal Data about you:

Personal Data that You Provide Through the Site:

We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you take our surveys (thus complying with the relevant survey collector’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions), attend our events, apply for membership, are a member of our organisation, sign up to our mailing list, and/or contact us with inquiries.

For example, we collect contact information, location, payment information, and other information that you provide to us.

Any information regarding sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, socio-economic status, or any other protected class is given by you voluntarily and data is always anonymised (see ‘Aggregated Data’ below) at which point it no longer becomes Personal Data. When you interact with HOUSE OF PRIDE through the Site, Services, or third parties, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. HOUSE OF PRIDE may store such information itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by HOUSE OF PRIDE affiliates, agents or service providers. This Site may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers, and how our users use and interact with the HOUSE OF PRIDE Services.

Also, in an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the  users of the Services, HOUSE OF PRIDE often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behaviour based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis. HOUSE OF PRIDE may share this non-identifiable and aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners, but this type of non-identifiable and aggregate information does not identify you personally. HOUSE OF PRIDE may also disclose aggregated member or user statistics in order to describe our Services to current and prospective business partners, to the general public via the Site and other HOUSE OF PRIDE social media accounts, and to other third parties for lawful purposes.

We use your Personal Information (in some cases, in conjunction with your Non-Identifying Information) to provide the Services, complete your transactions, and administer your inquiries.

Certain Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining your zip/postal code with your street address) in a way that enables you to be identified. But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other Non-Identifying Information (for example, your viewing preferences). We may combine your Personal Information with Non-Identifying Information and aggregate it with information collected from other HOUSE OF PRIDE Users (visitors to the Site, users of the Site, members, membership applicants, event attendees, those on our mailing list, those who have taken our surveys through our Site or other third party Sites, etc.) to attempt to provide you with a better experience, to improve the quality and value of the Service and to analyze and understand how our Site and Services are used.
